Today, we celebrate Mother’s Day, an occasion to express gratitude, love, and respect for the incredible moms who have nurtured us and shaped us into who we are.
ATU Local 113 Basketball team tours Maryland
Last week our ATU Local 113 Basketball Team traveled to Maryland to represent the local in an annual basketball tournament. They played teams from Washington DC (689), Boston (589), Atlanta (732), Cleveland (268), New York (1056), Hamilton (107) and Chicago (308 & 241). Our team fought hard all the way to the quarter finals where we were knocked out by Washington DC (689). Thank you to the membership & local for their support!
Hopefully we can be back next year with a win!
Red Dress Day
Today is Red Dress Day, an occasion to remember the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ peoples across Canada. On this day, we remember the lost lives, stand with the families still seeking answers, and commit to making a change.
