ATU Local 113’s collective bargaining team has been working through negotiations with the TTC for months trying to get our members the new contract they deserve. The union has been without a contract since April 1st, 2024.

After requesting that the Ministry of Labour appoint a conciliator on April 15th, our union has been working with the representative and TTC management.

Unfortunately, there has been no progress on some of our key issues related to job security, wages, and benefits.

Our union has requested the Ministry issue a No Board Report.

“We have been at the bargaining table since early February,” said Marvin Alfred, President of ATU Local 113. “We were hoping to reach a fair agreement with the employer. The request for a no board report is our final step towards our union’s ability to legally strike.”

Following the report being issued, Local 113 has seventeen days to notify the employer that we will withdraw services.

ATU Local 113 is prepared to fight for our members & will exercise our right to strike, as needed.
