Video from President Carlos Santos: Two Questions for Mayor John Tory

This is one of a series of brief video messages from Carlos Santos, President of ATU Local 113 to union members who work at the TTC. This video poses two questions to Toronto Mayor John Tory:

1) Did you know about Mr. Rick Leary’s failures as head of the Boston transit system before you supported him as CEO of the TTC?

2) Did Mr. Leary tell you, the mayor, about the Osgoode near-catastrophe in June, 2020 – an incident that revealed, through an independent investigation, numerous TTC management shortcomings and misjudgments?
