John Lorimer Online Scholarship Form

Application Form – 2024

Applicants must complete the two-step process, in order to be considered for the Scholarship.

The John Lorimer Scholarship is available to the children of ATU Local 113 members. In order to be eligible, each applicant must be:

  1. Graduating from Grade 12 this year and advancing to a post-secondary education program, or
  2. Enrolled in a post-secondary education program and have not previously received a scholarship from Local 113.

Thirty-eight scholarships, each in the amount of $1,500.00, will be awarded to eligible applicants with the highest percentage standings, based on each applicant’s highest six final Grade 12 ACADEMIC (U Courses) marks. Applicants must be attending a post-secondary university in September 2024 and must not have previously received a scholarship from Local 113.

Deadlines

Application Process: STEP 1
Online Applications must be submitted NO LATER THAN 11:59 P.M. FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 2024. 

Application Process: STEP 2
On completion of the application form, eligible applications will receive an email receipt. Applicants must then email a PDF file of their provincial school Transcript to scholarships@atu113.net. A PDF file of the applicant’s six final Grade 12 marks must be submitted, NO LATER THAN 11:59 P.M. FRIDAY, July 26, 2024.

Applications and marks submitted after the deadlines will be disqualified.
