Do you think privatization of the TTC would lead to lower fares and better service? Do you think it is fair for people to post videos on the Internet of TTC workers going for washroom breaks? Should the Canadian Federal government financially support urban public transit through a partial gas tax transfer? Do you think TTC vehicles should be equipped with “slide away” clear plastic shields that Operators can use at their option to protect against assaults? Do you agree with TTC management that employees who are assaulted on the job and lose time from work should be financially penalized while they recover? Should the TTC be declared an “essential service” and strikes forbidden even if that meant the workers could win higher pay through binding arbitration? Do you think subway station cleanliness has improved since TTC management transferred most subway janitors to the night shift in 2006?
