For three months, from October 2011 to Januay 2012, 225 members of Local 113 who work for Veolia Tansport (under contract with York Region Transit) walked the picket line, rallied often, stuck together and ultimately won a fair deal. It was the longest strike in the 113 year history of Local 113.
